The Appendix Horse Foundation is a nonprofit organization, set up to accept your donations to help promote the Appendix breed. With horses being abandoned and neglected daily, it is this organization's goal to improve the Appendix horse's chances of finding a good home and use in the horse's life. We believe that if the value of the Appendix horse can be increased by training, breeding and promotion then the Appendix horse will be in demand and will increase the chances of this breed finding a responsible and loving owner.
The Appendix horse now has it's own pedigree breed and owners registry known as the "American Appendix Horse Association". The Appendix Horse Foundation is working in conjunction with the registry who registers the pedigrees and gives the owners a place to join together to promote their horse's breed.
In addition to this the foundation wants to give scholarships and sponsorships to Appendix horse owners who are going to school and/or riding an Appendix horse in competition.
The foundation long term goal is to purchase a working ranch and turn it into a institution for which the Appendix horse will be raised, trained, shown and use in many disciplines by the equine students who will come from all over the nation to be schooled by instructors in horse training, shoeing, chiropractic, healing, equine business or ranching.
Your contribution can be in any form or dollar amount and can be donated in your name, a love one's name or even in your beloved Appendix horse's name.
